Away
They will float away
Like boats
My beautiful flowers against the wind
To blooming fields
And open land
Promise I could never give
I am attached but I am not
If I cried, our bond would rot
And get misty stinking old
But I can’t blame
I’d do the same
Story is from where it’s told
Love‘s like a ticking bomb inside your brain
One crack - it all will change
But if you wait until it burns
You might die in its return
So I stand here and insist
Hold them happy, please
Give them love I couldn’t give

It was on a Sunday night that Dad stood out in the parking lot of the local Red Lobster. After he looked at his watch, a car pulled him up next to Dad in time for the driver to get out of that car. And after that driver walked right up to him, Dad held out his hand and asked "Did you bring it?" "You better believe I did. around and made sure
that no one else was there,
they stripped down and got into
the water only to have them
hear someone say "wait" which made them turn
around and see Sally standing on the
shore with a pair of towels and saying
"My dad saw what you were doing. You
guys need to get out of there and
dressed right now." only to have

and invite Sally
to join them in
