Scared of Her
I'm scared of her,
the girl I became 9 years ago,
scared of the harassment
I caused by texting too much.
I still struggle with this problem from time to time,
I wish the pain would go away,
but it just doesn't.
I don't trust myself
when I'm in a schizophrenic episode.
I become that monster that others fear.
I'm scared of her,
but I can't help but cry for her.
Because she deserved compassion
and she still does.
And sometimes, I'm just terrified
that I cannot give it to her ...

the new regime
Their New Regime
When I read what the high and mighty say
they come across as having no understanding
how the lesser people see the world
An overprivileged person called JFK. j
told us that the Palestinian people were
overrepresented on the world's stage, and that
Israel had offered to give the people
of Gaza greenhouse so they would become
self-sustainable growing their own tomatoes
To his amazement, Hamas turned down this
offer, but insisted on becoming a state that
that included the West Bank and East Jerusalem ...

the right to die
The Right to Die
A new era, a law tells us the right to die
there always was a right to die
many people choose to go that way
often called suicide.
The new law doesn't target them but
old people, those who also are ill, have
the right to be mercifully killed at
at a hospital near you
with this new law, the elderly are under
pressure to die soon, not take up space
for a younger generation, but it is in the
unsaid, we hear the whisper.
An article might appear telling the reader
the cost, in millions, to look after the...

The Gravity of Doubt
What thought for life
torments me enough
to keep from flinging
this dismal soul—
gift-wrapped in flesh—
from these towered heights?
The days were swift
and gone.
Fear grips
this would-be stone,
preventing the fall
that the will now fights.
“Blessed is the Lord,”
my heart defends,
what my mind has opposed,
hammering this hesitant,
restless soul with
heavy,
leaden
blows.

Pre-Jul
Pre- Juul time
The trees on the avenida have fairy lights
wrapped around their trunk
in the evening when the avenida is full of
slow-moving cars, people wanting to go
home from their offices in the center
they drum their fingers on the steering
wheel and wait for the traffic light to go
green, they might think it is beautiful
it is but
What's lacking is pristine snow. it is
a scene from a Hollywood movie about
Christmas; luckily, I have not seen snow
in Cascais. I think about the electric
bill it was high last...

Dissolving
Drowning in a pool of tears
Living in a reality
I can't begin to understand
My future was mapped
Now the map is torn to shreds
Uncertainty scares me to drink
And drink brings me closer to death
But maybe that's what I want
For all of this to be over
Good moments are few and far between
You want truth but sometimes it hurts
Time just keeps disappearing
And I'm just getting older
Dissolving closer to the end
Living in a reality
I can't begin to understand
My future was mapped
Now the map is torn to shreds
Uncertainty scares me to drink
And drink brings me closer to death
But maybe that's what I want
For all of this to be over
Good moments are few and far between
You want truth but sometimes it hurts
Time just keeps disappearing
And I'm just getting older
Dissolving closer to the end

Life is a puzzle
Life is a puzzle
A puzzle of time taking
Filled with confusing shapes
Beautiful when done
Hard when starting
Worthwhile when you are almost there
My heart speaks into a mirror
Seeing the regrets that has been made
Choosing not to speak its mind to
The problems that’s been saved.
Im a moving piece that doesn't know where to stay
Feeling lost in the sea of my feelings, trauma, thoughts
Not knowing where to belong
feeling not wanted
Drowning in my sorrows
Seeing love ones come and go as i sit alone
I scream but...

Beneath it all there was just one feeling
In the shadow of a fading day,
Where whispers linger, lost in the fray,
I gather fragments, pieces of light,
Searching for meaning in the heart of the night.
Ghosts of laughter echo through trees,
The wind carries secrets, a gentle tease,
Yet silence, a shroud, holds tight to my breath,
As I dance with the specters of love and of death.
Beneath the surface where colors drain,
I walk through memories, both joy and pain,
A tether to moments that slip through my hands,
Like grains of soft sand on...

Soul of Sorrow
Hear my spirit cry out.
In the oceans of memory my soul swims.
I taste the remembrance of life,
Only to drown in the tears of regret.
Oh what pity and despair I share with shadows of forgotten entities of desolation.
For I’m doomed to an eternity of darkness and sadness
and loneliness, and the overwhelming desire to live again.
In the oceans of memory my soul swims.
I taste the remembrance of life,
Only to drown in the tears of regret.
Oh what pity and despair I share with shadows of forgotten entities of desolation.
For I’m doomed to an eternity of darkness and sadness

His self believe
When a child, they said there was no God
if there was one, why would he (always a he)
let us suffer poverty and need
The wealthiest man in the world believes
God is a loving person because he worships

Not for him to believe his riches is a curse
given by an identity that hates humanity
Money in our material world is power
doors open the wealthy

Seven Years Free
I once dreamed of skies unbound,
A life where silence held no sound,
No echoes of rage, no shackles tight,
Just open doors and peaceful night.
My heart, a bird in a shadowed cage,
Longing to flee the storms of rage.
I painted dreams in midnight hues,
Of a home where love would infuse.
Seven years since I broke away,
Carved my freedom, claimed my day.
A house I call my very own,
Where laughter rings, where seeds are sown.
The past, a ghost, it haunts no more,
Its whispers lost beyond my door.
