Time Has Come Today
Synchronize your tiny minds, so you'll catch what I say
spread some crumbs on your path, so you won't lose your way
sunset sinks beneath the hill, the end of another day
the time has come for sleep again, i turn my head away
The darkness falls around me
once again, it has found me
i need to focus within me
the time has come to dream
I must hang tightly to the rope or I'll fall 10,000 feet
They give me a warning one more time, before I awake from sleep
I feel the shadow coming near, I feel the searing heat

my hurt caressed you
and you were caught in the moment
when my reality touched you
you look deeply into me
and we connected over shared pain
my beauty hid the scarred terrain within
I didn't trust in love I know it to be temporary with most people
and my heart has a strange way of loving forever

Lasso the Sun
The rider rides
With rage and passion in his heart
Over golden hills and across the plains
Across the great breath of land
Through realms and domains
Ready
To capture the sun
His untamed spirit and will
Has no time for menial things
There is a flame to catch and a force wield
As he gallops into the distance
Willing to conquer the day
Ready
To seize the sun
He chases the fire in the sky
Without wings or propellors he flies
Hi horse racing against time
Leaving a plume of smoke and dust...

every imaginable uplifting
gifted to me in that moment of time
that's what it gave me
on a wild whim I entered
never expecting any kind of return
they all said it wouldn't happen
insistent my stature wasn't up to the challenge
{what's wrong with being petite?!}
but for the first time...
I followed my dream
a few simple photos
brief biography
stuffed in an envelope
addressed & sent
& the unthinkable occurred
I got the call
date set...
everything...

Killer Goals
Twinkle asked me
to write down goals
the first 1 was clear
build more muscles
gain strength back
years ago i learned
that being physically
stronger made me
mentally stronger
more resilient too
improved stamina
is goal number two
(never ending sex)
as well as a boost
in mood of course
i showed the list to
my guy & said i'd lie
if i said i don't want a
killerbody he thought it
was a reachable goal
“it's way too shallow”
yet here we...

THE POWER OF INCISIVENESS
YES,
"He who hesitates is lost,"
is a timely axiom.
The adjective incisive describes
something that is sharp,
decisive, and diverse.
One of the characteristics of
incisiveness is the ability
to make choices and act on them.
"You can't go forward by
looking in the rearview mirror."
The one who practices incisiveness
is focused on a target, not random
but specific actions achieving reality.
While incisiveness is not 100% possible
but can be clear and strong enough
to take specific steps toward the goal.
