Cerberus
If i were to obtain a pet dog
The best deal around
Was buy one
Get two free!
All in one package
Instead of a four-legged friend
A three-headed Cerberus fiend!
This wouldn't work for me though
I prefer cats!
And imagine patting your pet on the heads?
I have only two hands
I'd worry at the head not patted
Would it get jealous
And perhaps eat me?

Saturday Morning
I looked out my front door
On the other side of the street
I saw a man open up his trunk
He yelled for his kid in the house
The kid came outside, and to his joy there was a puppy dog wagging it's tail
The child who was no more then 5, lost his balance when the puppy jumped on him
The kid fell to the ground and on his ass
The dog was licking and nibbling the boy until he got a taste of the kids mouth and bit the kid's lip right off
Must have tasted the chocolate chip cookies the kid was eating while outside
There was screaming and blood everywhere...

of Canines, and their inspiration
Loyalty in all it's ways
Gives birth to orphans and to strays
Who roam from town-to-town in wonder
And cast their sullen dreams asunder
"O friend, my bosom said,
Through thee alone the sky is arched,
Through thee the rose is red"
And though not dead, thy mystic arts:
To quell my fears, and many hearts
Are still the songs that echo loud
From places, none consider proud
The purest form of sweet devotion
Is not ephemeral in it's motion
'Tis felcity, tis sincerity;
The farthest thing from...

Dogs and Phones
Two things caught my attention today on my morning walk.
One:
There was a woman pushing a stroller along with a dog in it.I hope the dog was incapacitated in some way and not adopting our human tendency towards indolence.Dogs will soon be flying first class and the owners in the cargo hold.
Two:
There was a young mother pushing a stroller along with a toddler in it.The toddler had in his tiny hands a mobile phone.I hope that young mother was incapacitated in some way and not adopting our modern tendency to outsource parenting to big tech.Big tech will soon be...

Gloomy Night
As she wandered alone
Nobody came along
Her heart skittered so high
Eyes worried in the gloom
The only light a lamp
At the end of a road
Someday he will find
The little brown mutt
With sad blue eyed frown
And recall her name
More than his best friend
For now she looks
Lost and lonely
A little thin
Slightly dirty
Can’t find bones
A soft bed
Masters hand
Upon
Her head
Warm.

THE ADVENTURE OF STUMPY AND THE DUMPSTER BOY
A three legged dog with brown curly fur waited in the alleyway.
The dog’s name was Stumpy.
The rain and ice had cracked the concrete. Years of waste had washed through. It was slimy and grey.
A boy of seventeen, ragged, hungry, and pale, was rummaging around a dumpster.
Stumpy barked.
A man dressed in beige grabbed hold of the Dumpster Boy and pulled him out. It was the manager of the Magnificent Burger House. He was sweaty and salty and his moustache covered his mouth.
“What are you doing in my Dumpster?”
The boy had hold of a bag of mouldy...

Good Boy
Time, if it even exists, does so for no other creature than man.
It's simply a construct, a convention required to keep our complex civilisation running smoothly.
What would life be like without the bullying presence of time?
I'm glad you asked?
Let me introduce my dog.
Here Trumpy, come boy , sit , good boy.
I've got a question to ask you.One woof means yes,two means no.OK you got it.
Ok boy here goes.
Do you know what time it is?
Woof woof
I thought that's what you'd say.Lets go for a walk Trumpy. ...

Rest In Peace, Hazel V
One year ago tonight, I had to watch as your life came to an end.
It was sad to witness your demise and I felt so much pain within.
You died in 2023 on the 9th of December.
You'll be a dog who I'll always remember.
When I saw you die, it was sad to know that you would have no tomorrow.
Each and every person who has lost a dog can understand my sorrow.
Last year, you didn't live long enough to see Christmas arrive.
Rest In Peace, Hazel, I certainly am sorry that you didn't survive.

What is it about the moon
What is it about the moon that always appear in the night skies, through the process of the months that has us so hypnotize, by the glow of the aura shape and shine like a bright light, up in the sky. For sure what does it mean 🤔when you lose your own chains of thoughts, and insight into the deepness of the moon, glow of the truth that slowly, begins to draw our energy as well as our attention. For it even goes deeper than deep, into a different perspective on life. Yet for the wolf it's a change of the world 🌎 that comes, with an aura that has a stronger hold on the mind and...

SATIVA
I found her in a gutter—or was it by the road?
A place no puppy should ever call home.
Small and shivering, she stumbled through dust,
a beige bundle of fur, cloaked in ticks and mistrust.
Jesse begged, pleaded, vowed she'd care,
Her voice carried promises, heavy with air.
No leash, no collar, no history to bind—
Just a stray, and a thought: She’s ours to find.
June 17th, she came to stay,
A tiny life, beige as dawn’s first ray.
No bigger than the palm of a grown man’s hand,
Yet she filled a void we didn’t understand.
