Born in the troubles Dublin knows.
Cyprus, Greece and East Timorese.
Somali and Lebanon, claimed souls.

In the beginning
Quick light so bright its blinding.
Takes a few days for sight.
Nurtured and loved no worries binding.
Three years old begins the blight.
Can't forget the first they say.
I slipped hit my head on the wall.
She kicked me in my ribs.
Punched me in my jaw.
Grabbed my hair lifting my head.
Slammed it to the floor.
Said if I tell any ill be dead.
Informed me I was the child of a whore.
Woke up next day sore still feel.
Her old family Bible she slams in back my head
She was destroying all my will
Smiled...

The Honest CV
I've been doing a spot of job hunting.
It's not going well—
possibly because I'm being half-hearted about it,
but I also wonder if I might do better
to submit a brutally honest C.V.
rather than the factual but boring one
which probably reads just like everyone else's.
Previous jobs:
Lots of schools, good, bad and indifferent.
I've taught classes, groups, pairs and individuals.
Children are children, wherever they are.
Running my own business
teaching music to pupils of all ages. ...
It's not going well—

I've said it more than once in many different ways.
F.M.L is how it's always been and always will be.
I've come to accept the fact that another love in my life just isn't going to occur ever again.
I'm to live alone.
Just as I'm to die alone.
Shit happens.
Just it's been happening the past 48 yrs of my life.
So I'll continue to say FML until that fateful day of death occurs.
Nobody is ever gonna love me again.
I'm not an attractive man.
I don't make alot of money.
I'm just fucked.
