Despite all the turmoil and despair in the world right now, I’m glad I got DU. It’s my comfort zone, where I get to visit my fellow poets/poetesses. When I first got here a lot of the members said, “Welcome to this dysfunctional family.”
I haven’t seen much dysfunction, really. I’ve seen creative people being creative, and supportive of each other. Is there family drama? I would say yes, you can’t put this many creative and talented people together and not have friction from time to time.
