Pepper Perished
Lung cancer ended his life, that's a terrible thing to go through.
He starred as the bully who beat up Clark Kent in "Superman II".
In 1977, he starred in "Martinelli, Outside Man".
During that same year, he also starred in "The November Plan".
He guest-starred as a minister in "The Good Guys".
It's always sad and tragic when such a person dies.
Because of cancer, he's no longer alive.
He died in 2022 at the age of eighty-five.
He starred in "Evil Altar" and "The Over-The-Hill Gang Rides Again".
He was both a wrestler and an actor and his name was...

Earnest II
He died one year ago today and was laid to rest.
He was a good friend and his name was Earnest.
Earnest was one of three men that I knew who died last year.
He repaired and sold computers but cancer ended his career.
He would still be fixing and selling computers if he was alive.
Earnest tried to beat cancer but sadly, he could not survive.
His friends and family are sad because he no longer exists.
He was a great man and a friend who has been missed.
Everybody who knew him was truly blessed.
He was my friend and his name was Earnest.

Final Days
I remember how much Dad suffered during his final days.
After months of receiving chemotherapy, he passed away.
Regular chemo stopped working so they used a more powerful version that made him feel worse.
It wasn't long after he received the more powerful chemotherapy that he ended up in a hearse.
When it came to being diagnosed with Leukemia, it certainly wasn't something that was foreseen.
Today is the ninth anniversary of my dad's death, he died on the thirteenth of July in the year 2013.

Cancer, Radiation Treatment, Chemotherapy, and Hospice
I dedicate this medical journey for anyone to have to ponder the sole decision when faced with the diagnosis of cancer and what is the best course of treatment plan, regarding such a prolific journey and what methods to heed when subjugation the body to its path to reach remission, eradicate cancerous cells, to prolong life, to decrease the metastasis, or to assure the essence of quality acceptance when in the terminal stages.

obscurity
obscurity
Obscurant poems
Complicated word puzzles
Several meanings
Give poetry a bad name
For those who like clarity
Lepidoptera
Do you mean butterfly?
No, caterpillar
Or maybe a swimming style
Something of short duration.
Thank you very much
I shall treasure this always
Your profundity
But I fail to understand
The point of obscurity

time
If time
slows down
when
we fall
in love
then
I don't
ever
want the
rain
to stop.

Night
When I wake
In the mid-night
And my whole frame
Shivers,
Is it that I
Have poisoned my veins
With liquor and plight,
And may
Never again
Know a gentle night?

And my whole frame
Shivers,
Is it that I
Have poisoned my veins
With liquor and plight,
And may
Never again

Allie
There's no proper time line
for how this is supposed to work
I miss you
And yet
I wouldn't change
the way things fell apart
you gave me strength
even when you weren't around
to see how we all shattered
and put ourselves back together
like mismatched puzzle pieces
that look like a whole picture
as long as you don't stand too close
to the cracks and shadows
But I'd be lying if I said
your death didn't break me
adrenline overriding fear and grief
sitting with you
waiting...

hospital workers
Hospital workers
It has been another busy day a lot of driving
the destination is yet another hospital that smells of despair.
Busy fat auxiliary nurse, you can hear the friction of sweaty thighs
and the smell of their vaginas.
Im not surprised the canteen sell mostly sweet cakes and drinks
and low paid, they have no other chances.
The doctors are mostly good at their trade, but some of them
would be happier as car mechanics, if it hadnīt been
for pushy mothers wanting a son with a title.
They are jolly, the nurses on a sugar high, I...

Dad's 74th Birthday
In November of 2011, Dad was told that he was terminal and wouldn't survive.
He was diagnosed with Leukemia and he passed away at the age of sixty-five.
Dad worked hard for many years to feed his family and keep a roof over our heads.
He lost his battle after 20 months of Chemo and would have no more years ahead.
When he was diagnosed with his horrible illness, Mom called me at once.
A nurse told Dad that she'd never seen a Leukemia patient survive longer than 18 months.
Dad survived for 20 months, that was two months longer than what the nurse said.
Mom...

Ringing
The ringing in my ears
terrifies me;
I hear it as a cry of death,
that all must soon heed.
Whenever I hear it,
my mind sways and
my heart gives in;
I stumble into black peril,
sweat burning against
the fading feeling
of my own skin.
I dread the ringing;
It is the sound
of blood and needles:
And I've settled my debt with cancer,
and I've knocked upon death's door,
and the ringing in my ears
is terrible and timorous,
and I want to hear no more.
