We gather at this sacred sea where Lauryn was conceived to honor her soul's passing. As the ashes of this daughter meld with the winds of time, let us acknowledge the profound mystery of her existence. In death, the tether to life dissolves, and the flesh that was once an instrument of love and erotic pleasure fades into the silent embrace of the eternal. Who parted the sea
And no one believed me

One and done, I am still here all alone

Names Of Guardians Of Delphin's See
There are many Names Of Guardians Of Delphin's See
Although there can only be one, the others cannot be
Poseidon, Neptune, Mazu, or even, Ran/Aegir
Or is it Tiamat, or Oceanus, or merely a nereid seer?
For in the darkest depths, of the eternal abyss
Immersed in Protean tales, mythology persists
So to which hydrocrat, is a dolphin's homage paid?
Or is it none of them, for they're all man made
The aggressive delusion, upon terra firm's, rife
And only in dolphin seas, is there intelligent life
For there's nothing beyond, a siren's...

Ancestral Roots
I am many things,
A fragment of creation,
Homo sapiens by name,
A species, distant kin to chimpanzees.
A warm-blooded mammal,
Descendant from ancient seas,
Where once protozoa danced—
The first stirrings of life.
I am stardust incarnate,
Forged from the remnants of stars,
Shaped by my father's sperm,
Cradled within my mother's womb.
I was born to a world without deities,

A Faithless Eucharist
The only thing that gave me life
was art and literature,
though once I confused religion with such,
and so reclining with the damned,
I felt that I could follow Him.
But really it’s as empty as a faithless Eucharist,
and how I used art was only to form
a self that could like dough and flowers rise.
If not the Watchmaker at least
to some sense that you’re whole.
I think I’ll still be cynical and wretched at 50.
I’ve never cared for people, life,
except when evolution twists
genetic imperative’s knife.

I Am Of the Earth
I am of the earth,
nothing beyond.
Being of the earth
has been quite enough.
I began to exist
as the result of the natural urges
of my mother and father.
I was sperm.
I was egg.
And so, I am me for a time.
One among many on this planet,
inconsequential and forgettable.
But for this night,
I’ll surrender to the fleshly concerns
of this short life.
For this night,
I’ll indulge in the sweet pleasure
of physical touch,
tasting the earth
and sharing in its bounty.
This is only...

People, young man, are stupid.
You won’t realise how stupid they are
until you understand
that you’re just as stupid as them.

when it comes to the meanings of things
as he who blamed a temple God
for his wife’s miscarriage,
