Take that one chance and make it a great one
At a young age you were told "You have the whole world ahead of you to do what you like"
What do you do...Nothing. Most settle on what comes to them easily. Never striving for much more then the basics. It don't matter to you at the time. You have youth, energy, your having unprotected sex and hanging out with friends all the time. Life seems quite good, until you have to grow up.
At middle age you now think "I've should have done this to avoid that or to go this route instead of that route" You realize changes can be made but you become to content and set...

I AM STILL LEARNING
DISCOVERY
I use to think
I knew it all until
someone asked
me a question.
When I swaggered down
the steps of the university
with my BA in my hand,
the world said, "Sit down
and I'll teach you the
rest of the alphabet."
WAKE-UP
It has been a wonderful
journey since the day
I realized how wonderful
it is to be a continual
learner in the never
ending School of Life.
I'm still learning to live
every day admiring the
beauty in the garden
of life where I have been...

There will be challenges
Have you ever wondered is it possible to be able to separate thyself, from the negativity and drama with it's deepness of inner vibes. Filled with hurt and pure confusion and drama and madness, that will have you going completely insane. 😮💨 For sure it's necessary to be able to share, our thoughts and insight and bring, honest and truth into the realness of a true relationship. AS it is with a strong commitment and real consistency. To do what you say you came into my life to do, and be able to prove that to me, as man to woman as I prove myself to you, as woman to man....

Blame it on Age
Choose your words wisely
I’ve heard more times
than can count
Yet, each one we choose
equals one less sound
we’ll ever make
We are wells
running out of ink
or quills
whose tip frays
There’s only so much
it can write
and so much less
we’ll ever speak
Choose your words wisely
For they may be your last
I’ve heard more times
than can count
Yet, each one we choose
equals one less sound
we’ll ever make
We are wells
running out of ink

Retrogenesis
She taught me not to fear death
It’s just part of living
Now every time that I go and visit her
My soul hurts and heart sinks
She’s waiting to cross that bridge
Gone are the stories she used to tell
As far back as 1936
All the great details she could recall
Are now but soft flashbacks of mystery
I kiss her cheeks and forehead
Her smile and childlike eyes know who I am
The skin on her hands is paper thin
Soft and warm under blankets
Fighting the impending cold and darkness
An internal silent battle is raging ...

no joke...
listen...
I got a few questions
been on my mind a minute
just keep building
so I'm gonna put them out there
see where it gets me
can't they come up with some kinda fix-a-flat
who do we see about that
cuz lately...
the girls aren't feeling as elevated
looking a bit tired
deflated
I want my bounce back
these days it seems like everything sags
& if I gotta pee
don't even look sideways at me
takes that trickle down effect...
to a whole other level
it's a serious situation
when the...

the essence of absence (everything & nothings of newness~nothingness)
sanctum's reminiscing memory papillae
still stuck hard in revolting astringencies
of million brewing theobromine crisis
had but just caved in again and again
to indelibly imprinted submissions
of passion smeared wine red lipsticks
over and beyond the woven ranges
of once fluttering fabric herbarium
in pleated cottons to crinkly punks
now idly under hermetic enclosures
that do dare out a little here & there
in hung remnants of trivial traceability
whilst the basic principle of the active you..

the color of dreams
kaleidoscope dreams lie
they color my dreams hopeful
in patterns and shapes that delight
they soothe me in my twilight hours
then I awaken to gray
gone are the azure blues of the oceans I love
that I will probably never live near
and the greens of the forests that feed my soul
that I've not visited or seen in fifteen years
the colorless flavor of my world is depressing
I live in the country it's beautiful and quiet
it can also be lonely
my passions are red hot while sleeping
then I wake to a bed...

I saw myself in you
It's remarkable really
I've lived many years beyond yours
Yet watching you live in the present
Brings back my memories
Often we're talking in different directions
Eager to share experiences
I've lived what you're about to ..
Part extraordinary part wreckage
Had a BIG birthday yesterday
I feared that age, the # and all
Didn't make it public on social media
Just wanted to hear from real friends
Back to you though
I'm significant in your life
You in mine
We manage each other, care

Life force
What makes them cling to life?
The old men stooped over their Zimmer frames.
The withered mothers, grandmothers, struggling with their change at the checkout.
Why don't they just give up?
What force compels them onwards through decrepitude?
Could it be the morning birdsong?
The scent of blooming jasmine?
The giggles of a toddler?
The smile of a new mother?
What force compels them onwards through decrepitude?
Perhaps the memory of their youth?
The thought of their first love? ...

Retiring Minds
Trump's a freak for speed, like his Nazi muse,
and mien apples plummet close to the plan
whereby injustice lights a public fuse
to stroke the puny ego of a man
willing to extinguish millions of lives
in the service of nostalgic notions
cherry picked from the dubious archives
of baby-boom perma-fry devotions
who wouldn't trust people over thirty
when they were protesting a war
the establishment made down and dirty
like a coked-up big business Wall Street whore.
The decades didn't alter morality
as much as...
