Dear Whomever,
I don't want to call you out but I noticed you distancing yourself lately. Is it the fact that you don't want to talk to me anymore? Or that I've become too much to handle? When you figure out yourself why you ignore my requests to speak then get back to me. In the mean time I'll just be dropping all of the signs for you to stay with me. Subtle signs that hopefully you'll pick up on before you drop me completely. The point is: if you hate me then don't say you want to date me. Don't call me your bunny then ghost me for no end. I will hop and you don't own me.

There's a storm of emotions brewing
Need to check their meaning
Before i act upon them
Nature's law is confusing
The human condition can misread the signs

Once Upon a What If....
Sitting close to shadow,
Not quite in the black,
But deeply into the gray,
Where I can hear my heart tick-tock,
Where I can feel my blood running its course,
Where my mind leaps and pirouettes.
It is in the quiet stillness of this twilight place,
When fantasies arrive unbidden and unwanted,
Where questions dance and careen with no end,
This is where loneliness born of hope lives,
Apart from smiles and summer heat,
Tucked deep inside situational comedy.
What would come of it?
If I reached out and touched your hand. ...

I am one, thats only half
in that asunder I live alone bereft
that fate's smooth runes, gleaned forecast
come winds of love, some chance and waft
To seek for an eternal flame
Showroom newness, manifest a gleeming dream
the untouched, not used and lame
to smell its comfort, beauty so pristine
Are my standards far to high
to hoard the orchard's cherry fruit

You know the feeling in your stomach
When your heart races a little fast
Your body temperature goes up
Not knowing the emotion is going to last
But what do we know at twelve?
And as the years pass and we grow up
The feeling lingers for a while longer
The heart palpitations signal something
As a friendship grows even stronger
But what do we know at thirteen?
Adolescence cements these relations
Foundations found deep inside the heart
We build a dream with great expectations
But are too scared to have it...
