There's something so fucking hollow
In knowing you won't be at the top
Of my message lists anywhere anymore
That I'll never share with you again
No videos, no memes, and no thoughts
Cutting you out of me will take some time
I won't ruminate about you thinking of me
The possibility that maybe you'll miss me
Just enough to show up at my door
We both know you would never do that
You have never been afraid to lose me
And now I am gone from your presence
How long until your new relationship breaks?
Because of the broken parts in...

I'm breaking bonds apart with my hands
Ripping this rot out from around my heart
Loving you was never a happy feeling
Wretched and unrequited... Only misery
I found myself trembling, shaking so hard
My phone fell from my fingers onto the bed
I've never blocked you before this moment
But then again you have never chosen me
Kissing me meant nothing to you... Never did
I'll never be anything more than an er
Patching up and putting together your heart
Only for you to leave and find someone better
But you will never find something...

Chasing Wishbone
I’m alone
Staring at the phone
I haven’t grown
I’ve known
My seed was sewn
No backbone
Seems outgrown
Like Stockholm
Or on methadone
Should not condone
Chasing wishbone
And seek a new cologne
A shiny gemstone
Within my own time zone
To reach my milestone
Or just standalone
Till they carve my tombstone
Life should not be overthrown
Deserve a throne
Tended like an anemone
No more unbeknown
I’m no stone

Chasing the Unrequited
The jagged pieces congealed to a thick solid numbness.
My heart became a frozen iceberg to what you casually confess.
Bone white, splattered in moonlight, it now protrudes
in the motionless black onyx ocean of my soul.
Desperate to absorb the solace the glowing darkness eludes.
Yet alone, I shiver with the ice of your truths.
Who you want
may very well not want you.
Why is it we covet so, the shineless promises,
warning signs of the cold blatant truth.
A dull fact, you were never mine.
I chase the unrequited with my neurons...

In another life
Everything that could keep us apart, already does.
Our positions in society keep us apart.
Our lack of common interests divide the both of us.
Even the methods we each use to communicate with others makes conversation between us so confusing.
It’s almost suffocating for both of us to even be in the same room together for reasons that are so infuriatingly inexplicable.
I would have to travel to the moon with you for it to be acceptable for both of us to even have a chance at a relationship.
What a joke it’d be...

sunsets never end
i take it from your longing i’m the apple of your eye
but no words left could fathom what my heart couldn’t describe
restless nights and cancelled flights oh how i miss the view
when the sun would settle for you
romantic fiend and though it seems
for lust he knows too well
he bangs the door on marble floors
no roommate in his cell
when love and pain is all the same
the lines do not exist
her name written on
my wrist
it seems that you’re doing so well
the scent of blood has not left your smell

Light and Longing
Orange light funneling out on the water
A yellow beam greets it, missing synchronicity
Two fellows of solitude; signalling sanctuary
But their gaze never meets
As their selfless beacons dance upon the sea
How doomed are the rays
that never cross paths,
How romantic the intentions
that fall short of the mark?
Isnt the anticipation part of the thrill...
Do not the waves disturb the ocean still?
Perhaps lightkeepers are happy with their lot
To pour hours into good company,
the point is not
Then how sad for me...
