With every rolling wave
The melody whispers to me
I fear to a watery grave
It's so sad you can't hear,
the song of desperate love.
The siren plea,
Heard internally.
Resonate in the sky above.

My body shifts
Every few minutes
As my mind incessantly
Stirs the irony
Of my upcoming reality
You’ve been asleep for hours
And haven’t noticed my soft
Touch, followed by a
quiet withdraw
lingering feelings that send
Me into deep thought
In a dark room
Hot, with the fan on
Hot with your rhythmic

But instead I turn my body

Soaking in welled up tears
Disdain for the wit of life

Heart's Calling
In the realm of dreams one night,
I saw your beckoning light.
Roused in the wee hours' silent hush,
I embarked on a quest, an uncharted rush.
Yet, our destinies hadn't converged,
I pressed on, an eager soul submerged.
Down the road with no set guide,
Drifting through the contours of my mind.
After a prolonged drive, as the sun reached its noon,
I found solace in a roadside café's boon.
To my surprise, there you stood,
In the company of friends, smiling, as you should.

Home at last, or so I thought

After sunset is when
I see them best
Steady streams of light
While I’m flying to you
Orbiting across the night
Before the sunrise
Its gravitational pull

Grazing the airplane

When Creation Says It's Time
(Verse 1) In a darkened sky where stars align,
The universe gave us a love divine.
Guiding paths through the cosmic dance,
We found each other, a fateful chance.
(Chorus) Mother Nature tied us, a celestial tether,
We were one, so bound together.
But our love it was sacred dance, a tender rhyme,
Perhaps we will love again when creation says it’s time.

Matters of Attraction
My beloved showed me beauty, the strong
nuclear force, binding quarks —
and its marvellous spin-off, uniting bodies.
Spanning atoms or stars, mysterious
glue, exchange of tangling tokens,
trinkets, touches, words —
body-breathed, fingertip written,
tracing undulating contours.
Following spacetime dimples, planets blindly
orbit their star.
Charmed, we lie, still,
eye to eye, in a darkened room, and worlds
fall away. The cosmos shrinks
wrapping us.
