To feel the light's nurturing embrace,
Is to have danced within darkness’s gaze.
For from the womb of suffering,
Is the place where strength is born.
the bosom of pain,
Where happiness drank,
remains the place
knowledge is stored.
through the act of deceit,
Truth is conceived.
the belly of hatred,
Where Love plants its seed.
in life’s internal furnace,
Balance is believed.
For to drink from an empty cup,
Does no one any good.
And to pour into a cup too full
Yields only...

Always in a daze
Always in a daze
I live the same routine over & over again
Wear that empty gaze
The one that keeps me
Sane!
Don't crucify me
You'll see
Inside I'm fragile....I'm weak
So much more to lose
if I don't try
But I cannot change
I'll just burn the ambition inside
Stared into a void
Of emptiness and a bitter feeling
Too much time alone
Leads me into darkness, dreaming
This road will take me nowhere
Suffocates my will
Today though, I will try again to be something I am not

Too many humans
Mankind is off track
The Black Plague was a dick
But it needs to come back
Our world's spinning faster
Like a playground carousel
With a trillion kids pushing
Until it flings us off to hell
China may be dystopia
But they got one thing right
One child per family
We could use their insight
No lives matter
We're all equally worthless

If only I had been
Do I believe in reincarnation, the answer is no
I don't think there is a heaven, we got no place to go
I believe my ship came and went
I think my tokens have all been spent
When my chances came, I took the bus
I've got nothing left but total disgust
Think my world is coming to an end
I'm left without a penny to spend
I wasn't brave enough to do something with my life

If only I had taken that chance
If only I had stepped out on that limb
Maybe I could have been someone
Instead of sinking I could...

what is my life
what is my life upon this golden strand,
tomorrow gone, although now, here, i stand,
a breath of shallow air upon the lung
of God’s great universe, where i am flung?
i am a blink of eye sparked by a glimpse
of paradise, from which man, fallen, limps
upon an earth that swallows soon his rhyme,
to make him but a blot in space and time.
i am a word scarce fallen from the lips,
a dance scarce cradled by a mother’s hips,
a butterfly...
