Just Speak
As I stare at the spiders web
I wonder what comes next something joyful
Or some pain put back into me
Each minute passes we think there are more than these
Next moment life changes rearrange my soul
So if you’re breathing suck all life out of it
Don’t go to your bed of roses regrets in your casket
Spit it out your Bible anything that passions you
You can’t take anything with you across the river
So stand up strong chest out
The world can’t hurt that I will not allow
Put your life’s dream into...

Promoting General Welfare
Knowing nothing of axiomatic things
Trads claim liberals are always at fault
while slavishly revering mad kings
and their authoritarian gestalt,
so much so they think they own liberty
and the bluest skies where her nature thrives
from sea to crude oil polluted sea
tainting all but aristocratic lives
as they crush that old American dream
where the effort of the poorest old slob
to live out their years as those dreams may deem
without being dependent on a job
that never had respect for any dreams...
that didn't exploit...

the truth,
whether the time
be of your prime
or youth.
the ways of man,
whether by plan
or chance,
mark well from birth,
upon the earth,
his dance.
it is unkind
to wear a blind
passport
to shield the eye
from those who cry:
in short,
turn not aside
those who must ride
the storm;
reach out and bless
those who know less ...

Skyscrapers are the ultimate symbol of human ambition,

drag me by the pulsing shoulder,
by rations
limited that make me bolder;
too soon i
find that failure is a raper
to ruin my
feet short of their high skyscraper.
the journey,
though an uphill climb forever,
shall earn me
all the fruit of my endeavour;
sharp bruises
shall my passions not diminish,
excuses
weary not what i must finish.

If my life span's at least eighty-three years,
I've seven-thousand, nine-hundred and two
days to laugh, smile, sing, and shed tears
and as many rebirths
for with each Sunrise
a new life is given
a fresh privilege to prove

kinda remind me
Of johnny and June
All the years
so many smiles,
we've had our share of tears .
oh how we burned up
the miles,
A whole lot of glad,
a handful of sad,
Many memories
We've had
with each other
I swear Ill never have another
Ill Ever again call my lover,
It's where I'll run to
when my crazy world
Comes unglued,
When life's got me

Colors
There's anxious colors waiting patiently
To be released unsuspectingly
In the dreams there haunting me
I'll make the world like it's suppose to be
Colors, streaming from my mind
Colors, no ordinary kind
The dreams are running to my pocket
The blue returning to the sky
Now what is this that has overcome me
Creating colors for my eye
Anxious colors please be good to me
Don't make me live my life tearfully
Head strong and color my frustration

THE FAST APPROACHING BORDERS OF THIN ICE INSANITIES (5-31-1992; in a Sonora Texas roadside Motel)
my only hope here
presently
is to keep on moving
ever further away
from these fragile
increasingly eroding
threadbare
decaying borders
of such fast approaching
proximal
thin ice insanities
where i have
for so very long now
only been struggling
courageously fighting
in intermittent
recurrent cycles
of both successes
and futility alike
to simply
yet desperately
at times
just survive
and stay alive
more than i have
been able to
more fully live
my life
my one...

I’ve been quiet
finding solace under the tree of life
how many times I’ve sat here
watched seeds fall
reading Revelations
laying sheet after page to my left
practicing how I’d one day
tuck in my own children right
give them voice to story
S.T.E.M to sow
gifts to grow
teach them to plant the tree
not carve their name
to yield fruit not flesh
but bark when they need to
be an olive branch of hope
be rooted
in this soiled world
call me a sap but…

We're Happy and In Love
Tomorrow is a special day for my girlfriend & I. We're celebrating our one year anniversary without him. You may ask who is him, well him was my girlfriends ex-boyfriend who couldn't accept the fact that her & I were madly in love.
