A little polish and she shines right up
A beauty with skeletons told I’m handsome
But I have bad skin
We’re the earth and the sun
Spinning round each other
Neither will win
Other too strong willed and
One just won’t give in
I felt like JFK with Jackie O
Walk in a room looking to impress
On your arm no contest
I’m forgotten and watching jaws droppin
We are true and true and true to each other
I look at her she looks at me
In my head I know what I’m thinking ...

Because I Love You
You walk into a room,
and you see the door smack your back
Never once would you believe,
that you now need to leave
Then you fall through the wall,
no escape, as you begin to crawl
You decide there's an easier way,
this is how you're life will change, for you
Some people say that I'm alone... yeah!
They can't understand the reason why...yeah!
When the bell of my heart rings,
I'll know what to sing
That is why I sing to you,
because that I love you

It’s hard to love a poet, I know it’s true,
because I’ll love you deeply, but never just you.
I’ll love the pain, the ache in my chest,
the quiet moments when I can’t find rest.
You’ll think you hold me, but I’m never there,
lost in a world you can’t touch, I swear.
I’ll whisper sweet lines, make you feel seen,
but between the verses, I’ll slip in between.
I bleed my love on pages, not in your arms,
and you’ll feel like you’re losing to invisible harms.
