Longing
It’s seeing the sunrise remembering
your eyes.
It taste like regret, a lime flavor.
It sounds more louder than a library.
It feels like you’re still holding on even after

Love’s Rushing in…!
Traveling at 186,000 miles per second
is the light in the night from Lightning
which blasts the molecules of air apart
to create a vacuum most frightening
but it’s not heated air being pushed apart
that makes that clamorous din.
After Lightning has struck
and the vacuum collapses,
Thunder is the air rushing in.
And the X-chromosome lies waiting alive
in the female egg with grace
for the first sperm penetrating its membrane
bringing spark for a life to embrace.
If an X is first, it will be a girl.
If a Y, it’s a boy...

The screen light up,
Her sms appeared.
…. “I am feeling cold this morning ”.
With a gentle smile 😃,
A little thought 💭 ,
I replied :
….. “ Let me warm you this morning with the gentle heat of my love.
As the sun rises, so does my devotion to you.
In your eyes, my heart finds a cozy haven.
With every breath, I'm drawn closer to your tender touch.
You're the spark that ignites my soul, and I long to spend forever basking in the warmth of our love.”

Band-aids
I try to heal the wound you left behind
by dating someone else
But all I'm doing is hurting myself
When I look at him I just wish he was you
There are so many things that I can't do
I can't kiss anyone who isn't you
I almost throw up every time I do
They are all just band-aids that I used
Trying to cover the wound left by you
Everyone keeps telling me
Don't throw up grow up
