So Many Concerns
Made a lane change in the argument
Slight miscalculation of what was said
Saw the fist making it’s usual descent
Punches connected like bolts of dread
Rage always seems to claim her face
Light is eclipsed in transforming eyes
The calm before the darkest embrace
When she removes her normal disguise
Soon all the anger will go into remission
Ride out the storm until reason returns
Knowing how to remedy this condition
Her love comes with so many concerns

WHACK!!!!!!
The four of them got out of the car
The husband, the wife, the kid & the dog
The kid spills his soda on the back seat as he's leaving the car
WHACK!!
The husband hits the kid right in the mouth
"You little pig fucker"
"I just had this cleaned"
The wife leans over and says,
"WHY DID YOU DO THAT, YOU PATHETIC PIECE OF SHIT!!!?"
The husband turns around, towards the wife and
WHACK!!
He claps her right on her left side
This made the dog angry
The dog comes over...
The husband, the wife, the kid & the dog

Crocodile Tears
I can’t buy all the lies she tries to rise and amplifies
As she cries with dry eyes in some kind of disguise
Ms. Heard twists words and turds then just justifies
But on the inside you can see she feels cold as ice
We’ve all seen some bad acting but this is distracting
A lot the things she says simply don’t make sense
But an abuser will turn around and be the accuser

Ode to my Mother
My mother in the depths of her pain and sorrow
had a strength and tenacity that all should borrow
selfless sacrifices should be an example to follow
she was stoic to the end faithful to her vow
she endured her husband cruel blows
shielding her children from his punches
waking up with black eyes and bleeding nose
enduring the pain as she went about her chores
she was a lynch pin, holding everyone together
loving my wayward brothers even as they wandered
working in the paddy field to feed them
thatching the roofs to keep us all...

She was beaten into a crumpled pile, he never feared as he approached
There was the smell of torturous pain all around, the walls of his realm broached
Lost in the wilderness of her mind, where her abuser left her for dead
Some how her finder could her the words of abuse in her head
He could hear the words echoing, "slut" and "whore" all around
He could feel the giant fist continually pounding her down
Treated as a dog, made to crawl on all four

You use ideas as weapons
try and make me a villain
in your story
where I'm not
and never have been
the bad guy
You act like boundaries
is a dirty word
when you just want a life
without consequences
I understand that your
flight or flight response
is to turn me into a bitch
so you can be the martyr
but no one is looking
to burn you at the stake
and turning your trauma on me
won't heal the wounds
within either of us
I won't break myself
so you can kill...

My phone has 17 tabs open. I look at an encyclopaedia of craft patterns and recipes and weird facts I’ve shared with weirder friends.
