So today...
 it marks another year...
another one without your presence physically...
This year is a bit better...
 I am coming into
 my own
understanding...
 Even without you to touch...
My heart still beats a bit faster with thoughts of you...
 Small things make me smile and the heart ache only a little less
The sounds of change...
 The flick of the channels on the t.v randomly..
The smell of your coat coming home from work...
I CHOOSE to lift my head up..in thanks
not down in sorrow...
I am thankful for the plethora of memories,
 thankful for the abundance of love shown in subtle yet strong ways..
