You said that you would never leave me
But was that really true?
I sit here looking up at the Heavens asking God why you?
For those of you who can not comprehend
I began to question life for I never thought
I would lose a wife, lover, as well as my best friend.
I remember holding you never wanting to let go
My smile would brighten the cloudiest of days
For now it's a frown a sad constant flow
What I'm trying to say is,
Sometimes life situations can make you feel unbelievably low.
Memories of your beauty being A plus
Your smile as bright as the sun rays
Family and friends have come out to honor you on this day.
Remembering how special you are
Raising our kids to be fine adults
Teaching them true values in life,
God shinned upon us all
When I became your husband and you my wife.
Now it's time to say our goodbyes
As tears begin to fill up in family and friends eyes
As we say farewell to your body
To the Heavens your soul released
