Rainbows In Your Tears

Written for and dedicated to Tamaura_NightAngel

Fireworks splash throughout the sky
On angels’ wings the colors fly
For you the stars blaze brightly red
Miracles dance just overhead

A paradise that has no pain
Where rainbows fall as colored rain
Safe from the fists that hurt so much
Where angry hands can never touch

And promises of hope are made
Reflecting love in every shade
Thoughts of escape left to pretend
That yesterdays will someday end

In every tear small rainbows burst
When all your fears are at their worst
Answers to prayers you never knew
True happiness was meant for you

Iridescence cascading through
Rising forests of deepest blue
Sweet melodies sing on the breeze
Kaleidoscopes spin with the trees

Flowers smile and give a wink
At butterflies that sparkle pink
Pavonine fields shine vivid green
Enliven dreams strangely serene

Warm flowing streams stay crystal clear
The scent of spring is always here
Tall waterfalls pristine and pure
Supplied by tears you wept before

The rays of sun flare indigo
And frolic in a constant glow
Friendly shadows obscure your past
Caring moments hold you at last

The echoes of forgotten cries
Forever lost in laughter’s eyes
Fairies hover on beams of light
Tiny whispers kiss you goodnight

Tomorrows’ joys will find a place
And conquer all you have to face
Secret memories you hide away
But all your ghosts are gone today

Toward violet clouds a bird will soar
No cage to keep you anymore
Ascend across an orange sea
On yellow wind where you are free
