Image for the poem Natural

Natural

I held your hand
lifted you gently
onto the bed
leaned you back
opened your legs
placed my hands
on either side
of your hips
and began
to sip
your nectar.

I followed the trail
up to the spot
where all trails end
and found your clit
on the tip of my tongue
the most natural thing
in a world
of lights and water,
grounded in the root
of your soul
and made my home there.
