Married Broken Heart

I was married and had a wife
Thought this was the best of life
Twas hard to say the least
Marriage is a fickle beast
you work to make it right
In the end there’s always a fight
you try real hard to do good
In terms of better you no you could
Days come and nights go
Like rough waves tossing you to and fro
Smiles seem to slip away
As a loving touch escapes the day
Growing old together was the plan
But lately you do what you can
Trying hard to just keep it together
Once just love got you through the real tough weather
Some times you have to wonder why
She lays next to you trying not to let you hear her cry
Ignorance is bliss some say
Why would you want it any other way
we loved each other so deeply once upon a time
Is it really done this marriage of yours and mine
Love runs in my blood for you
Believe what you want its all so true
Hate and love are side by side
Men love to hate because of egos and pride
I Humbly hold my hand out now
I asked you for a wedding vow
Promises are made and meant to be kept
Whilst loved ones looked on and some wept
Is it really over this time
Our walk together Our rhythm and rhyme
Do we need to say fair well we are done
I thought you were my love I thought to you were the one
To much to handle to much to take
My heart cant stand this kind of break
My life will end knowing once was a love
From an angel that fell from heaven above
Time may heal all wounds so not true
My heart will never heal from the lose of you
