the smell of rain
When I was camping out west on the side of a cliff in an ancient Adobe house 20+ years back the smell of rain was in the air the afternoon but it was not untill the hint of orange twilight hit the clouds 10 miles away I didnt know the rain was coming to us for sure.
This is about that day.
The afternoon had heat I had not felt this way before
The day was dry the ground was hard this was new to me for sure
I took her hand in mine and said lets find some shade and talk

What is it that can be said that has not been said before
What will we learn what will we teach that has not been taught before
What can we do what gestures done that has not been done before
What pictures shown what poses seen that has not been seen before
What touch we give what caressing had that has not been had before
What gifts can we give what flowers picked that has not been picked before
What may I do what may I say before you close the door
What love I have is true for you and forever I promise you more
What is mine is yours what yours is mine now...
What will we learn what will we teach that has not been taught before

it's always a way out
Laying here drenched in sweat
Body still hot and soaking wet
My mind wont stop racing
What future am I facing
One thing I know now is true
Finally am I rid of the likes of you
Long have I been awaiting just the right moment
So many times I rant rave and vent
My dreams so long have been full of pain
One day I was sure I would go insane
The time in pain slowly chips away at you
How will you make it one more day to get through
Every morning I prayed for the end
All morality ready to be put on suspend
The tools are there ready to use...

whats left of true love today
Do you know what it is to be in true love
Is it the feeling of free falling from high above
What do we know of true love today
To we fight for it in any way
If love is just sex the point is so fake
Every other lover will be a big mistake
Is marriage a place to hold on real tight
Never go to bed angry not one single night
I pray that true love is not gone from all of us
But how many people put up a good fuss
We wish we dream we want and desire
We feel the passion we feel the fire
If the flames get dim what should we do
I know I will fight...

Making love was so much fun
I thought only of this beautiful one
She was the world to me
Her love was all I could see
Blind we are to the truth around
It is like we have our heads in the ground
She cheated every chance she had
Just like her beloved dad
I was caught by surprise
And betrayal was written in her eyes
Denying anything I said
She was unfaithful from before we wed
Thirteen years of a real good mans life
Waisted on a cheating whore of a wife
All that is left for me to do
Is end the one thing I thought was true

I leave here now
The steel is cold against my brow
The thoughts grow deep inside me now
I hold the moment in my hand
I know nothing will change in the land
The world will go on without me here
No one will miss me I know this clear
I did what was asked I loved her so

The love I want
My goal in life is to have the love in a companion like nothing else on earth can compare, To always want her in my thoughts to desire her in all ways if I dare.
When we disagree we do not fight & break up we hug & make up.
We compromise on the little stuff because the big stuff is what matters most we don't fight over that burnt toast.
We can agree sometimes to disagree and still smile and kiss our goodbyes or hold her in my arms with a long passionate kiss good night with love looking in her eyes.
We will be filled with joy we both will see, filled with happiness,...

The look of Ambers eyes while I am Looking deep into them
The thoughts of pain brought unto her from so hurtful of men
The beauty I see of Ambers eyes Looking back at me

Gone now were all the tears
Only 18 months had we been wed
Our love was now completely dead

Waking up in pain so much it accrued to me
We two as one will never again be
Your life with me is over now
No matter what I say or how
Even if I get my spine cut
Your gone from me no matter what
The pain you felt from my drugged words said
We no longer will be wed
In all the moments of my life
What mattered most was you were my wife
Thats gone from you and you told me so
So my pain is all I have left to love and know
Back to bed is where I will always be
