A Sensation of Heaven
- A Sensation of Heaven -
Is heaven a sensation, a feeling deep inside?
Or is heaven wherever love seeks to abide!
The love in my heart abides with you ever…
Stronger each day, so that naught can sever,
The bonds we are forging, links so steadfast!
Which reach beyond present, future, or past.
Eternal spirits are lovers who find their heart:
Like divine muses who inspire with such art…
Love everlasting, and heaven we can behold.
That is why love is sincere, perfect, and bold!
If heaven is a sensation, a feeling to be known,
Then love is heaven’s gift, so sweetly shown…
In all the ways that two may who are so united:
As we are, love, and for that I feel delighted!
More delighted each day, and all time to come.
For the bonds we forge are not to be undone…
Eternal as are all such things of destiny wrought,
Which, few ever realize, in deed or in thought.
For such fate as we make, is destined so pure!
Like a paradise beyond a softly sighing shore…
Grander than any Eden that fell in another age,
And more brilliant than the poetry on any page!
Is heaven a fair sensation, the stuff of pleasure?
With love to make it perfect, it is such treasure.
It is everything we dream and desire and more!
And, I am your angel, with all heavens in store.
