Vacation
today I don't wanna dwell on the problems in my life
today I just wanna have fun
today I don't want to have worries or strife
I just wanna play in the sun
so I'll be eating ice cream and sipping on my champagne
I'm not gonna worry about healthy living
or the few pounds that I'll gain
perhaps I'll smoke a cigarette or maybe even two
I know a little tiny bit of weed can be so good for you
you'll see me paint my nails with glitter
and put bright colors on my face
today I need to get out of here
I need a change of pace
why don't you come and join me
today let's all break free
a vacation from our problems
this pleasure spree will be

Very well written friend, cuts right through an it makes me member somethin that was more innocent, somethin care free as a child would want, And Not to let lives worries an fears rule over you, but to live life, not worry bout livin it...JUST Live it simple, and simply day by day...

I definitely need those days -- not that everyday can be like that -- but when you do make time to forget about your problems in order just to enjoy yourself,it is truly a good feeling and a vacation of sorts. Thank you for taking the time to comment on my poem. :)
