The real deal

      In a place where                                                                                                                                                                                                                          

freedom is suppose
    to run supreme,                                                                                                                                                                         
 I guess it all                                                                                                                                                  
  matter's on                                                                                                                                                
  multiple issues or who's team?                                                                                                                                           
                                                                                                                                          
The American dream                                                                                                                                       
                                                                                                                                             
is suppose to be for                                                                                                                                              
    all who come to succeed.                                                                                                                                                                       
                                                                                                                                                                                 
Cut backs, wars, and layoff's                                                                                                                               
     making families grieve.                                                                                                                                                                       
Feeling slapped in                                                                                                                                          
 the face by society,                                                                                                                                                                        
  Not born with a                                                                                                                                               
    silverspoon in my
                         mouth or a golden leaf.                                                                                                                                                                            

Seems like all a set up                                                                                 
       for me to feel                                                                                       
      defeat.
