ah darling
wish you a beautiful year
pardon me as i roll the second bottle
on the floor after the last swig
pop a couple of blue ones
dangle my feet down
smile my priceless
smile
fair enough
you tell me i have been mean to you
hurt you
you point your finger in the direction of
the decadent heaps of mistakes in my wake that wipe
my footsteps from the frozen sands of
liminal time
you are right
of course
when my silver cord
gets severed and i drift away
plummeting in spacetime watching you glow
in your wormhole
i call out your name
wave
thrash
before being ejected out of
the event horizon
then crash headlong
burning a zillion degrees at my core
my diamond bones searing
my heart a newborn star
i hit the centre of chaos
skyhigh duststorms
arise
obliterate
inertia creeps in
until primordial raindrops
cleanse falling
in tangents
words words words
saline scorching
deaf silence
gravity pulls us back to our orbits
we move at the speed of god
grab grapple
gnaw the
residue off
each other
unite
dance as the sharp flames
lick the synapses
in our spines
conjoined
get purified
sobs snot sniffle
smiles sweet nothings
fall like toy soldiers
with parachutes
from a sky unknown
again
one, love
