Listening
And I close my eyes
as the heart sinks
slowly. Imperceptibly
deflating me towards
a lower happiness.
In the dark
behind a weak smile, I listen
with all my focus
to a strangers fingertips stroke
and caress ivory;
the key hammer
echoing the chamber
with a precious resonance.
Nothing like the inner peace
of acceptance
as the heart sinks
slowly. Imperceptibly
deflating me towards
a lower happiness.
In the dark
behind a weak smile, I listen
with all my focus
to a strangers fingertips stroke
and caress ivory;
the key hammer
echoing the chamber
with a precious resonance.
Nothing like the inner peace
of acceptance
