Angels and their spaceship
All was still and all was calm on this very irregular night,
When all out of nothing, a flash, spectacular and bright,
All over the land, heads were raised to the night sky,
Three of them were wandering over the desert dry,
One pointed, he need not have, for the others were well aware,
On they rode, trusting white skin and yellow hair,
Way back east when visited, not one could he truly convince,
Yet now they saw his word was true, they hurried to meet their prince.
In a stable stood a man, full of fear, love and pride,
Gazing as he stood, he laughed, he shook and cried,
The dream of the wide-eyed man he recalled, and wept,
Months ago, the prophecy delivered as he slept,
Told by an angel, not to fear him and that a child would be born,
That he should care for the mother, not judge or scorn,
The mother lay with her child, she too was visited in a dream,
“The Angel was right’’ she spoke, whilst her eyes did gleam,
High above the stable which had held this momentous occasion,
Brightly shone the star, those inside full of complete jubilation,
Tall men in white and grey creatures large and small,
One being full of pride yelled, ‘’I must tell them all’’,
He descended down to where common shepherds laid,
His brightness awoke them, he said “ do not be afraid’’,
He told them of a saviour that was born on that day,
Pointing to his star, he showed them the way,
Watching from above, many more came down too,
And the shepherds stood in awe, could not believe it to be true,
Tens of glowing men, tall elegant and beautiful,
The shepherds bowing in fear, seeming small and dutiful,
Knowing that the truth, these shepherds could not comprehend,
They said they were God’s messengers, heavenly, they did pretend,
Saying they were people form a planet far away,
It would make no sense to them, easier to let them pray,
As the shephers hurried to see this child, still full of fear and awe,
The first being to descend recalled what happened nine months before,
They took the mother to their star as she did sleep,
Showed her to a man and there was a connection deep,
This man was tall and smiling, soft bright hair and skin,
Very messy hair, and large black eyes with no colour in,
She and he were naked, together locked in a dreamy state,
The Grey ones had these men, as they themselves could not pro-create,
A mixing of their own genes with Humans did make this breed,
And the mixing of the two species looked very Human indeed,
The child lay screaming with Human lungs so strong and loud,
All Hybrids had now ascended, the Grey ones too, all so proud,
The child’s mother was fully Human, but it’s father only half,
So born more advanced, yet stuck midway between each path,
His life pre-planned to teach the humans about how to live and be,
But the Grey ones and Hybrids had failed, soon enough, they would see…
