Hopeless

Have you ever been scared to lose something that you never had?

1st Corinthians 13:13

And now abideth faith, hope, and love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

I close my eyes when I see the sunrise and wait for the sunset.
That warm embrace reminds me of the day that we first met.
The beauty of your personality reflects in the atmosphere.
So now I feel your kind heart even when you aren't here.
Sad thing is that all days have to come to an end.
So I wait through the night so I can feel your presence again.
You got me thinking to myself "am I waisting my time?"
Often arose the question if I was out of my mind.
Cause I think my life would be more fun with U in it.
But this FN situation has me feeling kind of timid.
Scared i'll miss my chance and you'll end up in some other man's hand.
They call me a hopeless romantic but they'll never understand.
Some think its cute others say its pathetic
Opinions don't matter cause I'm only concerned about where I'm headed........
And usually this is where the poem would end but I got a lot on my mind and even more on my heart.
How do you go on
Being strong
While trying to hold on
To something that was never really gone
Because you never had it?
Tried to forget you but I'm still at it
Like a bad habit.
Tried to get away from you but I keep getting drawn in
Like a magnet.
And every time we talk I visualize
You and I.
There's nothing impossible with God on your side.
I don't want to miss a moment so now I refuse to blink.
So lord give me strength or lord give me patience I am only a man and I don't know what to think.
