A Beautiful Day
I've been living in a bottle
i'm sober today and feel vulnerable
but I feel I owe all the people who day in and day out
send postive vibes out into the world through this site
into the hearts and minds of so many
while of late i've been spilling acidic bile from the bowels
of my depression tapping into the darkest of places
I thought I would be hated but instead of finding judgement here
the sun shone and the light of all your souls embraced me
me the monster the untouchable
seeing myself differently now and reading the poems I used to write
I realise that's not me if I don't want it to be
today is a beautiful day and there is love here and I thank you all
