I Live Within Thee
Home is where the heart is, I've heard that said before,
and if that's the case, your eyes, your face, are my windows and my door.
Your smile is my lawn, your hair my dawn, your lips they line the path
your heart is the fire that fuels my desire, my cozy bed's the way in which you laugh.
The walls are your love, that support my roof of hope above,
and every decoration, in this home in which i thrive,
is every time you've looked at me, and made me feel alive.
When i come in cold and tired, from the dark unsheltered night,
your body is the bath i need, your words they bring the light,
and when your breath is on my neck, when i hold you close and tight,
at last I've found a place to dwell, forever in your sight.
and if that's the case, your eyes, your face, are my windows and my door.
