Humble Death
Trying a new approach to the way that I write...here goes...
I grasp tight life’s fragile thread,
With grin painted upon this pale face in content,
Aware that in a mere moment it will all come to an end.
I hold hope no more. I fear not death.
I embrace the darkness within.
Slowly release my grip my fingertips dance,
While I sink and slip.
Fading from the horizon of life,
All I have ever wanted was just this…
I grasp tight life’s fragile thread,
With grin painted upon this pale face in content,
Aware that in a mere moment it will all come to an end.
I hold hope no more. I fear not death.
I embrace the darkness within.
Slowly release my grip my fingertips dance,
While I sink and slip.
Fading from the horizon of life,
All I have ever wanted was just this…
