plastic pomegranate seeds
and desensitized pineapple grenades
 
sweating on the butcher's block
 
fat enough on undeserved decadence  
to be a devout preacher of entitlement
praying
to the deities
of talks too much
 
spill enough beans
a seed is sure to sprout

enough fertilizer
and insecticides
the strong armed robbery

will convince even sugar
