I want to taste you
I want the smell of your sex surrounding me
filling my lungs
pheromones shooting me up with endorphins
(let go of the tourniquet)
(let the endorphins rage through me)
my tongue craves your hole
I want to make you writhe
feel it
know heaven while my finger dig inside you
is it safe
for either of us now?
(he looks down where the ground used to be and says to her)
("I'm already holding your hand, and we've already jumped")

the perfect ending to a story of oral sex, as it adds an artistic, soulful shade to the whole affair. Also loved the mention of the tourniquet.

sex is a drug (or sex as a drug) yes the tourniquet fits nicely in the imagery.. thanks as always jack for seeing the art in my often times vicious verse

last line adds such warmth and tenderness to it, its really conveys a range of emotions , beautiful nathan.

Despite the brutal honesty of your words, in actual fact this poem is sweet natured - this is a poem of love albeit a frank one at that! Your sharp, urgent words make it seem like of a poem of lust but when you arrive at the end of the poem you get a sense of togetherness, a sacred bond between two lovers. It is then that you realise that this is a love poem.

thank you very much for the extremely very kind and insightful comment.. well it's about someone I care about deeply and even though most of my recent work is blunt to the point and often quite brash this one is a "love" poem of sorts.. thanks again :D
