why i love dslrs
she
loves photography
outdoor wildlife
and children
has a nikon
never told me
which model
women
ha
hates her accent
thinks its way more
than should probably be
hides it most of the times
tries rather
it makes her dazzle
like a diamond in stasis
and layers of dust
dreams of the ocean
lying face down
smiling safe free
while the seven lovers
come one by one
caress her feet
lives in her oneiric realm
that she does
all the time
an island somewhere
in the pacific
a small cottage with
whalen rexroth poe
stacks of journals
psychology analogy
and this and that
yes she is a romantic
yet hides it knowing
that she aint great
thats the fun part
she has eyes that
make me want to cry
cheeks that remind me
of things long forgotten
like beauty
i would love to elope
with her to havana
have a small store
photograph document
travel
and discover ourselves
in the nooks and folds
of the heart soul
body
she is all mystery
grows and then
ceases to be like
some undiscovered
sea algae
i love it hate it
bares it all
poems that is
misses her family
and chunks from life
otherwise she is a
disneyland dream
makes me want to
open myself up
thanksgiving turkey
i think she likes me
how sad is that really
for.her

speechless...
the images that you portray in ALL your poems are beyond enviable..

Yes, she does.:)In most of the things.
I am glad that these leftovers do the work
for you. Lazy as I can be, it is a wonder.
Nevertheless I am happy as always.
Much love,

Sumeet my friend, read this earlier, you ve made edits no? Much easier go this run...mystery typo by the way...takes a few times to catch your cadence, but a real joy when its caught. Such a hopefull romantic, admirable. How sad is that even sounds not so dismal from you. A lost love is at least a found write(kinda like that line,ha). Always a pleasure

well that is a happy moment there. ahoy.
being caught is the best thing, i say.

cacti and crowley notwithstanding, that's
the bare deep seated truth.
not dismal is a good thing. a thin ice there

sumeet

These lines:
i would love to elope
with her to havana
have a small store
photograph document
travel
and discover ourselves
in the nooks and folds
of the heart soul
Spoke to me specifically. The thought of getting away to focus in isolation is a grand one and one that drips with romance in company.
DSLRs = Digital Single Lens Reflex. A very adaptable and user-friendly camera. Much of the movie 'The Black Swan' was shot on a DSLR. What can be done with tech these days!

Hey PTM
so good to see you:) yup I know what you
mean by romance in isolation.Indian women

i had four of those. nasty ones. nikon d 90,
canon 7d ,5d mk ii and i ds. lost the four
of those with 2 hard disks [1 tb] in ladakh.
they are great cameras and one if the finest
additions in a while. i have shot with Red
One [ad production] in the past and these
are great. i did not know about Black Swan.
which one was it, arri alexa? lot of the
movies in the last 3 years have been shot
with these. its very cheap though puritans
prefer film. damn. i have said too much
[losing my religion]
thanks for stopping by sir.

Another one out of the ballpark.
Holy shit-damn. This told the story. THE story. The run-away and life that fantasy life RIGHT NOW story, and live it out, and love it... and hurt with it, and fade in it beautifully, and wants it all the more.
You're a deep weirdo, that's freaking awesome.

This wraps the gift of your poem right up, securing, yet it leaves room for the mind to wander down the trail you've paved for us readers.
It's a trail made up of pure and perfect [imperfect] woman, lying somewhere that is desolate yet breathtaking...and the rest locked in my mind.
True wonder, Sumeet. I thank you.
