The Perfect Place
Quiet, Peaceful, Serene
A deck out on a secluded lake,
(taking glances to watch the water move or see the fish swim stealthily about)
A porch in the deep south,
(slowly swinging on a swing or rocking chair)
The kitchen table or your favorite chair when no one is home,
(to busy at shopping malls and other loud places)
Oh these are the places I'd rather be,
When i had a book to read.
