Prudence
Her scars have now faded away
Speaking is harder now, for she had little to say
And there he was, her angel
Took her in his arms and the flew away
Dark shadows under her eyes had lightened
Tears had rolled and dried away
She should've been happy
To have him
But where was the first one?
Saying goodbye would be fatal
She could already feel the blade pressed against her neck
"Don't do this"
She whispers before the deadly goodbye kiss
Speaking is harder now, for she had little to say
And there he was, her angel
Took her in his arms and the flew away
Dark shadows under her eyes had lightened
Tears had rolled and dried away
She should've been happy
To have him
But where was the first one?
Saying goodbye would be fatal
She could already feel the blade pressed against her neck
"Don't do this"
She whispers before the deadly goodbye kiss
