Brink of Sanity
I saw a man today -
I think he was crazy.
He was smoking indoors,
(which is illegal)
and was staring maliciously
at little girls.
I imagined him decapitated,
with his entrails hanging out.
I saw a lady today -
I think she was crazy.
She wore a long gypsy skirt
and walked around the streets,
opening car doors and hooting;
I think she liked the sound.
I watched her being ravaged
after which her throat was slit.
I saw a child today -
I think he was crazy.
He jumped in front
of my car as I drove
and pretended to have
problems with his mentality.
I sped up and hit him
and watched him fly through the air
until he crashed into the ground
crushing his skull.
I looked in a mirror and
saw a girl today -
I think she was crazy.
She looked back at me
with tired eyes, sick
of the way the world had become.
I didn't recognise her.
I tied a rope around her throat
and kicked the chair from under her.
A smile formed on her face,
as though she were finally free
and then she fell limp.
I think he was crazy.
He was smoking indoors,

and was staring maliciously

I imagined him decapitated,
with his entrails hanging out.
