Life’s cliché’s

Rome was not built in a day
as hard work requires effort,
so stop procrastinating
and do all that you can right now.
Don't put off till tomorrow
for it may never come.

All that glitters is not gold,
some things are far more precious
and while we love them in our grasp
we know that absence makes the heart grow fonder
but that doesn’t mean you should ever let go,
for they may never return.

There’s no place like home
– it protects man’s Achilles heel,
without one every man feels threatened.
But a chain is only as strong as its weakest link,
so if nothing links you to your home,
if all your loved ones have perished,
do you still want to go back?

Life presents us with clichés, but when you further pry,
being is one within itself – you’re born, you live, you die.
