The Knight and the Princess
The Knight remains vigilantly on guard,
wounded and bleeding from a crushing defeat in battle,
yet returning to the side his love, his Princess.
He holds a thin single strand of gold,
so brilliant that it appears a star has been forged into its creation,
a rainbow of the rarest jewelled stones embedded on its edges to form a tiara.
He lost weaves and words within the combat, stripped by the NeverForever forces,
managing to retaining their forms and formats for eternity,
held within his heart, he will now only dare to display
the passion and fire contained within to his Lady.
His armour, shattered, warped and twisted beyond use,
displaying the star, the Thirteenth star, her star,
covering the single indented plate that covers his heart.
His vows and promises made to the Princess,
to support, love and lead her to the tranquillity
of his uncompleted tapestry, needing her devotion,
for only she holds the remaining, virgin threads needed for completion.
The Princess is forever kissing frogs that think they're Princes
The Knight, virginal to the touch of her tender lips, wishes
she would believe his declared honour and unconditional compassion
The Magpies have returned with The Gods Blessings for their passion
The Sparrow will fly with the Thunder, will be uplifted by Peace,
permitting herself to search and explore unknown futures upon her release.
