Forbidden love

It hurts so much  to love one who don't,
 Time wasted cant even  count.
It's like nothing you've done he'd appreciate
 causing your heart to be chained within a gate.

You try your best to love one back,
Yet your heart is blocked by hatred ready to attack
nothing they do is ever enough 
One loving you them you don't is really tough.
 
Giving u all the love  they may have,
But you hold on to your love as they stave.
Hurt knowing yourself fighting pain
  Hatred causing love to seem insane.
