I'm an Aquarius aquarium
This feeling never floats away
Happiness lives inside me
Every single day
It feels like schools of fish
Are swimming in my veins
Swells of tranquility
Become vibrant reality
Can you feel them flow
Do you even know
I've never felt like this before
I see my love light up your face
You turn me
Shades of Magenta
Whenever I'm with ya
You turn me
Shades of Magenta
Because I love ya
When my heart beats it sends
Pulses of possibilities instead
It feels like schools of fish
Surging towards my head
You caused a system
Of hydroponic color
A method of love between
Myself and my lover
My DNA coils and twists
Lost codes the shape of a ladder
You busted through
Generic colors that didn't matter

Lots of great things happening. I'm fixing to drop off a few digital art pieces to
the local art guild for a contest. Wish me luck.

The ones you go see downtown at the zoo.
I love how small schools of fish look

Thank you. It just came to me. How when we feel that rush sometimes it feels like a school of fish. I had to write it down and grow on that line. I'm so happy it was worth the work:)

Happiness is definitely contagious. Plus, it just feels good.
And I love aquariums how they can be surreal and calming and schools of fish are so bright and colorful. I wanted to incorporate it into this write.

No, I haven't posted any art here.
I'm saving all of that for the book I'm working on.
It's a work in progress. I'm doing art to match the poems I've
written. Lots of cool imagery amigo:)

Your metaphor of the fish and your passion for your lover took me in completely. I could feel what you described with that incredibly vivid imagery that took me deep into the heart of our poetic serenade. Truly a masterpiece of deeply felt passion. There is magic here that touched my heart. Thank you for sharing the jubilation of love expressed with colors and emotions that sang to me as I read.

It came to me a couple of weeks ago and I jotted a few things down and rushed home to see what I could make from it.
I might add or change a line but the overall
effect of happiness and love came out just perfectly.

shortened slang type
wording in my work...
Its actually cuz I been
texting a bit with my
employees...
I think its like a regional
dialect, text speak...
When in Rome...
But yes, I like throwin
it in...
Mostly with dialogue...
Oh...
THe ending...
With the M word...
There we would have like
the rewind sound...
Did she say what I thought
she said...

that rush of excitement. Like a quickening in my blood and I thought about schools of fish.
How they surge and flow reflecting such beautiful colors.
