Phoenix Rising

Every morning I hear your voice
Mesmerising and enchanting
A testimony to your determination
Confident and expectant

When the sun is higher
Your song sounds sad
You switch the key
From major to minor

You have to they say
You cannot they say
You must not they say
Demands eat you up

You pile up all your projects
Light them and allow the flames
To consume you and your ideas
Rebirth and death begin anew

But you can break this circle
Don't burn your work but all obstacles ,
Rise from the ashes, spread your wings
Fly towards your final destination!
