melancholy girls
sadness regrets the day
her light shine but on one saw
her brittle glory fade
one moment at a time
melancholy cry her dreams shattered, died
silently she held it within
she told no one of her brokenheart
sorrow utter grief
she talked about her problems with no relief
her feelings stir deep within
she linger in the past and couldn't resolve
days of dark blue
shadowed their days
sisters in solemn's stead
their combined tears, made a river of lost hope
my days are sometimes like this
I don't talk to anyone I just write about it
darkness is an appealing substitute
to the sadness I feel like crumbling under
grief too close to my heart plagues
I ache with it with no reprieve
I don't have answers to ammend
my sorrow fully understood
sadness is my friend
she cradles my guilt
and promises a brighter tomorrow
sisters of the faith my melancholy girls
tears now are wisdom later
