A Message For You

Since today is Thanksgiving, I wanted to reflect on a couple of things.
And no, there will not be any murder, death, debauchery, orgasms, bizarre antics or twisted endings in this message. I'll save that for tomorrow.
 
I've been here since January of 2024. I have enjoyed this site immensely. The best part of this site was reading other people's poetry. Were all different. We all tackle life the way we believe it should be tackled. Your viewpoints and ideas we'll probably be different then mine or someone else's. That's ok. It creates a unique individual that will shed light on my soul and possibly influence me and others.
 
We have all come to this site for one reason. That reason is recognition. We want to be recognized for our talents. We want other's to appreciate what we can create from our minds. It's comforting for someone to praise you. It's rewarding for someone to acknowledge you. It also can be helpful when someone can take another person and help them along the way. Some writers are stronger then others. Some writers are poets, some story tellers, and some are spoken word performers. Whatever the angle your talents lie, I have been inspired by you.  If it wasn't for the praise, the RL awards and some amazing people I have met along the way, I would've jumped ship long ago.
 
One last thing...I wanted to talk about Gratitude. The definition of this word is "acknowledgment of having received something good from another".  A simple statement to comprehend. I would like to now give thanks to every single person that has acknowledged me, inspired me and has written some of the best poetry/short stories I have ever come across in my life. This list is in no particular order.
