The Dead Prairie Scrolls

Eyes once serene
Now cast shadows by a cooling stream
Pebbles smoothed by time
Now sand ticking slowly by
Hour glass shape once held lovingly
Now standing stoically

And someday
One very lucky soul
Will find the remnants
Of a life meant to be reborn

I will not be writing my memoir. I will also not be rewriting and rereleasing my book on Amazon as I planned. Sometimes it takes not only walking away from the toxic people in your life, it takes leaving the life you know behind.
I’m saving everything. Maybe when I’m ninety years old someone will find my notes and like to write about the unique life of an uninhibited old lady because it won’t be me.
