Torture/Reward
Why do we push through so much pain
Are we crazy, are we insane
Why do we fight such a losing battle
Rowing upstream in life without a paddle
Swimming against the current, walking uphill
Done for self torture or done for the thrill
Boulders are obstacles in our lifes fields
Is it too risky or rewards will it yeld
Challenges in life come way too fast
The destiny we choose determines our path
When knocked out we can stay down
Or confront our fears refusing to turn around
But why challenge ourselves, why do we fight
Escape the darkness and shine our light
So we can show the world we're battle tested
Our resilience is strong when underestimated
Believe in ourselves so we can feel alive
Show the world no matter what we'll survive
Our strength, our will they can't take away
We will be victorious every single day
Take a step back and enjoy this view
A self reflected memory we went through
Without facing challenges we only feel pain
But by overcoming them, the beauty we gain
Are we crazy, are we insane
Why do we fight such a losing battle
Rowing upstream in life without a paddle
Swimming against the current, walking uphill
Done for self torture or done for the thrill
Boulders are obstacles in our lifes fields
Is it too risky or rewards will it yeld
Challenges in life come way too fast
The destiny we choose determines our path
When knocked out we can stay down
Or confront our fears refusing to turn around
But why challenge ourselves, why do we fight
Escape the darkness and shine our light
So we can show the world we're battle tested

Believe in ourselves so we can feel alive
Show the world no matter what we'll survive
Our strength, our will they can't take away
