Student Teacher Poem
Sorry madam, I can’t you follow
Don’t move son, I’ll come to your row.
I can’t understand a word from your mouth
Next time I’ll bring my PC and a mouse.
English makes me look stupid and ill at ease
Well then, I’ll teach you English in Chinese.
Teacher, teacher I have lost my book
Never, ever instead use your face book.
Blessed having connexion in our classroom
A pity! for your smart phone you have no room.
Studies, homework and revision yet, not ready for the exam
Sacrifice texting, chatting and log off your Instagram.
Dad and mum about my school results do complain
Tell them video games have killed the student in you, what a shame!
I sometimes cross the lines and of school rules make light
Learning is both a duty and a right not a joke neither a fight.
Misunderstanding always occurs, you and I should find a way
Dear student to yourself and the teacher a due respect you should pay.

I remember, students were in touch with teacher and there was some warm affection and cozy atmosphere within, and they used to argue with good students, and shares their thoughts and respect them too,and teacher never showed arrogance and pride towards their learners, but they encouraged them, boost their talents and gave them books and learning prizes, but now, teachers are arrogant, they leave no room for students questions, and questioning, and curiosity,they spend the time with heir phones, likewise the students behave, and the gap is widening as far as
the ethical models and the basical Abc's are left behind, so ignorance is growing, the will to know and learn is windling, and the next generation will be gaping mouths waiting animals to lead them into a deep pit.

I can't agree more! A very heartbreaking situation so far in the field of education and an unfriendly and a disrespectful relationship between student teacher.. things have worsened by technology as if this generation is cursed! No more values, no more human contact.. the virtual world is glorified, artificial intelligence is having the upper hand and the essence of Humanity is waning.. I we are the ones who feel the ache and suffer most having lived the time of ethics and values.. brought up venerating our teachers and books.. and you have genuinely and well displayed education in our golden age.. Absolutely! So nostalgic! I have lived the glory of Education and now have experienced its decay.. One of the main reasons I asked for an early retirement.. and so happy to get it.. when teaching becomes a consuming task devoid of its noble message and meaningful mission.. it is futile to carry on.. So much obliged to you for your great and valuable response to my humble poetry.. stay always blessed and happy.
