Dear You, Sincerely Me (3)

You smiled at me on that big smelly bus.
Who knew that day would create such a fuss.
You got so excited when I replied "hi"
I got so sad when you said goodbye.
Soon you are leaving me,
Forever it seems.
But you will always be in my dreams.

Dear you,
As I wrote this poem I realize that we may never see each other or talk to each other again, unless by accident. If you knew how much you meant to me, I feel as though you won't want to go. Alas, this is your new chapter. The newest page in your story book. I just hope to be on one of those pages when you turn back to look. Look at all the good times and bad. Look back and see that weird new freshman on the bus. See how much I will miss you, and notice that I will always love you. Although you may never read this. "I wish you joy and happiness, but above all this I wish you love."
