Moonlight Bath

Late at night  
when all have gone to sleep  
I walk out into the deep blue sea  
 
I take off  
my man-made wares  
So my body will be cleansed naturally  
 
There is no one  
To see me in this state  
The moon is my company  
 
Breaking through  
Waves as if born to do so  
In the hopes of feeling free  
 
The trouble is  
My mind is stuck  
In a state of totality  
 
I rise from  
The deep to breathe  
Relinquishing the day completely  
 
Let the waves  
Take it to a place  
As long as it is away from me
